Berry Feast!

Trinity Baptist Church had our annual Berry Feast this evening. The Berry Feast has been a tradition for as long as I can remember. Every year, the congregation gathers at church and everyone brings their favorite berry dessert. Then we gather and pig out on all kinds of delicious berry dishes!
I got to play piano for the evening service prior to the Berry Feast. I LOVE playing for my church whenever I get the chance! It has been so wonderful being home and back at the piano and playing for the music pastor here.
After the Berry Feast, my best friend and I got a big group of people together to go upstairs and sing. We all gathered around the upright piano in the choir room and sang for a solid hour. We sang hymns, praise choruses, and all kinds of things. I even got to learn a few new songs--without music! :o) It was great. Just like old times. It was wonderful being gathered around all of my childhood friends singing praises to the Lord. Yes, I am indeed happy to be home! :o)
